Disney vs. Scientology

Tune into the new season of Lewis Black's Root of All Evil, on Comedy Central, starting Wednesday July 30.

I don't know the specific date when this show is going to air, but only last week I was at a taping of ROAE & watched them do Disney vs. Scientology. It was great. They did more than the Xenu story, though not as much as I'd hoped. But enough to sell the audience (which was almost evenly split) on it's evilness. I was disappointed with the scripted outcome, but you know, the litigious nature of Co$ was enough to keep them from doing it at all last season, so I'm really just happy it got made.

I guess even crazy people get it right now and then. Any body here work for the drug industry ?????

It took a freedom of information act to expose the truth. The drug makers have been hiding the negitive studies.
http://www.counterpunch.org/cox01272008.html

Now a new Study: Antidepressants Work No Better Than Placebos for the vast majority of depressed people.
http://medicine.plosjournals.org/perlserv/?request=get-document&doi=10.1371/journal.pmed.0050045

The drug makers have been out right lying about the efficacy of antidepressants. They have been caught red handed.

For the majority of people, the drugs are no better then snake oil.

If the only problem was that, the drug is a placebo for the vast majority people who have been given it, I would not care.

But it is far from the only problem!

The Physicians' Desk Reference lists the following adverse reactions (side effects) to antidepressants among a host of other physical and neuropsychiatric effects: manic reaction (mania, e.g. kleptomania, pyromania, dipsomania), emotional lability (or instability), abnormal thinking, alcohol abuse, hallucinations, hostility, lack of emotion, paranoid reaction, amnesia, confusion, agitation, delirum, delusions, hysteria, psychosis, sleep disorders, abnormal dreams, and discontinuation (withdrawal) syndrome. Adverse reactions are especially likely when starting or discontinuing the drug, increasing or lowering the dose or when switching from one SSRI to another SSRI. Adverse reactions are often diagnosed as bipolar disorder when the symptoms could be entirely iatrogenic (treatment induced). Withdrawal, especially abrupt withdrawal, from any of these medications can also cause severe neuropsychiatric and physical symptoms. It is important to withdraw extremely slowly from these drugs, usually over a period of a year or more, under the supervision of a qualified and experienced specialist.

In addition to the adverse reactions listed in the Physicians' Desk Reference, the FDA published a Public Health Advisory on March 22, 2004 which states (in part): "Anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, akathisia (severe restlessness), hypomania, and mania have been reported in adult and pediatric patients being treated with antidepressants for major depressive disorder as well as for other indications, both psychiatric and nonpsychiatric."

The vast majority of school and other recent massacres have involved people going on or coming off these drugs.

Many otherwise loving parents have killed their own children wile going on or coming off these drugs.

This website is a collection of 2100+ news stories with the full media article available,
www.ssristories.com

I have personally witnessed some who who became scary psychotic and violent wile in withdrawal. Someone who is normally highly, intelligent gentle, kind and loving. This is a person I dearly love.

For some people the often horrendous withdrawal effects last for years after quitting.

Withdrawal effects such as Suicidal thoughts, Suicide attempts, Homicidal thoughts or urges, Chest pain, racing heart, Auditory hallucinations, Visual hallucinations, Disequilibrium, Serious Headache, Numbness, burning, Electric zap-like sensations in the brain, Electric shock-like sensations in the body, Abnormal visual sensations, Spasms in the eyes, Loud ringing or other noises in the ears, Abnormal smells or tastes, Drooling, Slurred speech, Blurred vision, Muscle cramps, stiffness, twitches and much more. Most people describe it as hell.

Frequency of withdrawal reactions
Antidepressant______halflife_______Frequency of withdrawal reactions

Effexor____________5 hours_____________78%
Paxil_____________21 hours_____________66%
Zoloft____________26 hours_____________60%
Prozac___________4-6 days_____________14%

People can become completely incapacitated by SSRI withdrawal.
Reference: “The Antidepressant Solution” by Joseph Glenmullen, M.D.

Suicide, homicide, nightmare side effects all for a drug that is little more then snake oil for the majority of people.

What IS Scientology exactly??

It's an honest, sincere question. I'm NOT looking to convert or anything - I just want to gain a better understanding of what Scientology really is. There's fanatics on the one side, and fanatic opponents on the other side. Then there's me in the middle, being very sceptic about Scientology, but still without a clear awareness of what it means to be a Scientologist. So far I have been able to understand that it's not so much a religion as it is a way of thinking? It's supposed to alter the way you think about things or something..?

That reincarnation does exist; that entities , Atlantean in origin are being born to key families all around the World; that each of those entities has a Key purpose on this Earth and a Key role in this phase of the World moving smoothly into the next. Now, imagine that this phase is the one where human beings reach spiritual perfection; that this is the phase where the real magic happens. Read all you can about Rudolf Steiner, I beg you. Garner as much knowledge as you can while communication lines are still up. Peace on Earth is your mission if you are drawn to this. Let's head the Call!!!
and a little more about the group:
http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/01/anonymous-attac.html

---------
from Anonymous:
"Hello, leaders of Scientology. We are Anonymous. Over the years, we have been watching you. Your campaigns of misinformation, your suppression of dissent, your litigious nature, all of these things have caught our eye. With the leakage of your latest propaganda video into mainstream circulation, the extent of your malign influence over those who have come to trust you as leaders has been made clear to us.

Anonymous has therefore decided that your organization should be destroyed. For the good of your followers, for the good of mankind and for our own enjoyment, we shall proceed to expel you from the Internet, and systematically dismantle the Church of Scientology in its present form.

We recognize you as serious opponents, and do not expect our campaign to be completed in a short time frame; however, you will not prevail forever against the angry masses of the body politic. Your choice of methods, your hypocrisy, and the general artlessness of your organization have sounded its death knell.

You have nowhere to hide because we are everywhere. You will find no recourse in attack because for each of us that falls, 10 more will take his place

We are cognizant of the many who may decry our methods as parallel to those of the Church of Scientology. Those who espouse the obvious truth that your organization will use the actions of Anonymous as an example of the persecution of which you have for so long warned your followers. This is acceptable to anonymous. In fact, it is encouraged. We are your SPs. Over time, as we begin to merge our pulse with that of your church, the suppression of your followers will become increasingly difficult to maintain. Believers will become aware that salvation needn't come at the expense of their livelihood. They will become aware that the stress and frustration that they feel is not due to us, but a source much closer to them.

Yes, we are SPs, but the sum of suppression we could ever muster is eclipsed by that of your own RTC.

Knowledge is free. We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget.

Expect us."

The word "cult"

Please learn to use it with precision, and don't slip into the trap of using it in the lax / common way.

"Cult" is the root of the word "culture". A cult, anthropologically speaking, is a group of people gathered around a common ideal, object, personage, or place of shared interest.

It's true that Scientology is a cult - just as those who like David Lynch films form a cult, and those who dig Jesus, and those who aren't afraid to cook cabbage in tahini.

The reason it bothers me is that *so many* people use the word cult in a pejorative way - it means that those who like David Lynch films can be that much more easily vilified, dehumanized, and rejected by society. It's not good to use neutral words as insults.

When you're shredding the evil of Scientology and the stupidity of its dupes, please don't automatically cast aspersion over those of us who belong to loving, non-controlling cults. Remember how much everyone hated Hare Krsna? They sell incense. Fucking get over it. For every big scary newsworthy cult that commits mass suicide or believes in something colorful enough to earn ridicule, there are *hundreds* - *thousands* - that do nothing to harm you or anyone else, and it's likely that involvement with these cults is what keeps the members from killing themselves in despair and loneliness - or hunting you and wearing your skin around in revenge. See what I'm saying? Without my cult to provide the family love that has sustained me and continues to do so, I'd be a much much angrier individual and certainly would have found some large-scale way to express my rage and dissatisfaction with the "western" world by now.

Every time I see someone on this forum use the word "cult" as a derogatory label, I think of how stupid and worthless most people are, and how hypocritical it is, after all, for the lot of you taxpayers and car drivers to bitch about Scientology when you'll happily go scarf fast food or play Xbox all fucking day. See what 'm saying? You make it harder for me to agree with you when you suck so royally all the time.

Er uh, yeah.

Read "Strange Gods - The Great American Cult Scare" for more information (don't worry, the author isn't as mean / pissed off at you for being a typical hypocritical dumbfuck bigot as I am (that's what happens when you use words imprecisely without considering the impact - you piss people off; sometimes they get so pissed they make you into an enemy - so.... think about it) )

Homeless Scientologists?

Can you be homeless with no money and still be a Scientologist? I mean they have no money to leech off of which is the cult's basic mission. I know they have programs in prisons for drug-addicts where they give them saunas and shit but I think that just a good recruiting ground. And besides, the state picks-up all the costs of the prisoner anyways.

Unlikely scenario: Filthy homless guy walks into the big celebrity center in L.A. and says "Make me a Scientologist!" and squeeky-clean zombies rush to embrace him armed with E-meters.

No. I can't see it.

How can they be growing? I don't get it. They are up there with the Jehova Witness' in popularity. I can never mention to anyone that I was a Scientologist without some negative remark about them. People always say "How did you get out?" They think that they hold you against your will which is a myth but they do hold you by mental programming.
Check ou this link:: http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/09/24/scientology.city.ap/index.html
I have known about Clearwater Florida I spent almost a year there and my mother died there at Fort Harrison of a massive heart attack after a very bad ethics handling. She was dancing during a Christmas party. I can't even think of that horrible place. It's also where Lisa Mc Pherson died. I didn't know that the town was recieving 900,000 in property taxes and 80 million towards their economy from the robots. Can blame that mayor for accepting them.

Interesting article about Clearwater FL, Scientology HQ town

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/09/24/scientology.city.ap/index.html

Town accepts role as Scientology's mecca

Story Highlights
Church of Scientology owns about two dozen buildings in city
Some residents were initially suspicious of the church
Church is largest private property owner in city's downtown
Many buildings tax exempt, but 2006 tax bill was $900,000

CLEARWATER, Florida (AP) -- Sure, says Mayor Frank Hibbard. It can be a little unsettling sometimes -- throngs of Scientologists wandering Clearwater's streets in their blue or khaki trousers and crisp dress shirts.

Church of Scientology members walk past Flag Building, which the church is building in Clearwater, Florida.
Sometimes, it makes the neighbors a bit uneasy.

"When you come to downtown, no one likes being a minority," Hibbard says.

But mostly, folks in this picturesque Gulf Coast city have come to accept that Clearwater is to Scientologists what Salt Lake City is to Mormons, what Mecca is to Muslims. Though not everybody is happy about it.

"I think there's been a slow shift from a very strong adversarial relationship to a tolerance," says Ron Stuart, who clashed with church officials as an editor of the now-defunct Clearwater Sun in the '70s.

"There's still a lot of people in the city who don't trust them and wish they weren't there," says Stuart, who now works for the county court system. "But you can't deny that they contribute, particularly to the economy. Without them, there probably wouldn't be a downtown."

It's all unfolded over more than 30 years, since 1975, when L. Ron Hubbard came ashore.

The science fiction writer and his associates, who for years operated from aboard a yacht at sea, secretly bought a historic hotel in a dying downtown with a vision of making Clearwater a spiritual home for his Church of Scientology.

The mysterious newcomers made waves almost immediately with secretive, aggressive expansion and -- according to church documents seized by the FBI -- a covert plot to discredit their enemies and "take control" of the city.

Today, downtown Clearwater is an international Scientology stronghold and a destination for elite members (including celebrity devotees like Tom Cruise and John Travolta) who come from all over the world for the highest levels of the church's spiritual training.

The empire's thumbprint on the downtown corridor is considerable and conspicuous, from the uniformed church workers on the streets every day to the two dozen or so Scientology-owned buildings and other properties in the low-slung skyline, many of them fully or partially exempt from property taxes.

Scientology's gem is the new seven-story Flag Building, which covers a full city block just down the street from the county courthouse where the Terri Schiavo legal drama played out a few years ago. Also known as the "Super Power Building," it will be the largest Scientology structure in the world when completed late next year and is expected to draw thousands more visiting believers to Clearwater.

By church tallies, around 12,000 Scientologists live and work in and around Clearwater now, the old attitudes and prejudices in town softened by the passage of time and aggressive community outreach by the church. Scientologists now sit on the boards of civic groups. They own businesses downtown. No longer is it political suicide for local leaders to associate with them.

Hibbard, mayor of the city of around 110,000 residents, can hardly forget that the church is the largest private property owner downtown. His seventh-floor offices at a downtown investment firm offer panoramic views of the massive Mediterranean Revival-style Flag Building and other Scientology holdings.

"They are a large presence," he said. "To ignore that fact is like sticking your head in the sand."

Hubbard established the Church of Scientology in 1954, based on theories he conceived in his best-selling book, "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health." Today, the Los Angeles-based church claims 10 million members and more than 7,000 churches, missions and other groups around the world.

Scientologists believe spiritual enlightenment is possible by ridding your mind and soul of the accumulated, unwanted effects of this lifetime and innumerable previous lifetimes through an intense counseling process called "auditing." Auditors use a device called an "e-meter," similar to a polygraph.

Parishioners pay hundreds and even thousands of dollars for the auditing services and progress through various levels of "Operating Thetan." Those seeking to achieve the highest "OT" levels come to Clearwater, where the church inhabits the 80-year-old Fort Harrison Hotel and a cluster of other beautifully restored buildings.

Hubbard chose Clearwater, the church says, because it was accessible -- the Tampa airport is a half hour away -- and warm year round. There is also a story, perhaps apocryphal, that he liked the name -- "clear" is the state of being Scientologists strive to attain, and Hubbard loved the sea.

About 1,400 members of the church's elite staff -- known as the Sea Organization -- work in the buildings, church spokeswoman Pat Harney said. They live in former tourist hotels and motels around town that have been bought and refurbished by the church.

Despite the church's longtime presence and outreach efforts, Scientology is still mysterious and intimidating to many in Clearwater. The church's own polling in 2003 showed that a majority of local people who had no previous contact with the church had negative opinions about it.

And some sources approached for this story declined to talk on the record, citing fear of harassment by Scientologists. Hubbard urged his followers to "attack" the church's enemies, and many in town believe that the policy didn't die with him in 1986.

"There's an aura of mistrust still," said Ray Emmons, a former Clearwater police detective who investigated the church in the 1980s and still lives in the area.

Harney says the church "cleaned house" in the 1970s, removing anyone who espoused a philosophy of attacking opponents.

"Our moral code says 'Do not commit illegal acts,"' Harney said.

By many other accounts, the Church of Scientology has made huge strides mending fences in Clearwater.

The saga began when the church bought the Fort Harrison Hotel under an assumed name. Then, according to evidence seized later by the FBI, church officials plotted to discredit their "enemies," including the mayor and local newspaper reporters and editors.

Suspicion grew in the late '70s when Hubbard's wife and 10 other top church officials were convicted in Washington in a plot to steal federal government documents.

In the 1980s, the city held hearings to explore allegations that Scientology is a cult, but no action was taken. Clearwater residents protested the church. Church members protested right back.

In 1995, 36-year-old Scientologist Lisa McPherson died after being cared for by church staffers for 17 days in the Fort Harrison Hotel. A wrongful death suit by her family was a public-relations nightmare for the church for years until it was settled in 2004. Charges of criminal neglect and practicing medicine without a license were filed but later dropped.

Attitudes started a slow shift in the '90s.

Local politicians, recognizing a sizable voting bloc, started showing up at Scientology-sponsored candidate forums. Scientologists shored up their image by getting involved in many civic groups and community improvement projects. Outsiders were invited into the Fort Harrison Hotel.

A local watchdog group that dogged the church after McPherson's death moved out in 2002.

"Little by little, the barriers just disappeared," said Mary Repper, a political consultant who advised local candidates in the 1980s and '90s. "Now if you go to one of their events, you see more business leaders, more community leaders, more elected officials than any other event in the county. They recognize the church's value now, they see it was an integral part to the solutions of Clearwater."

With a new causeway to the beach rerouting tourists away from downtown, Clearwater leaders are desperately trying to figure out how to fill the many vacant storefronts and attract a mix of people to the city center.

Meanwhile, Scientology continues to spread out in Clearwater, turning a former assisted-living complex into an upscale hotel for visiting Scientologists, fixing up a run-down apartment complex to house more staff and opening a new parking garage.

Though many of its buildings are tax exempt, the church paid nearly $900,000 in taxes on its properties in the city last year. And a church consultant in 1999 estimated that Scientologists pump more than $80 million a year into the local economy.

JESUS CHRIST+JESU KRISTE+YESHUA HAMASHIACH+JESUS CHRISTUS+JESU KRISTU+ISOUS HRISTOS

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophesy and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. REVELATION 1:3

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth." REVELATION 11:3

He who testifies to these things says, " Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. REVELATION 22:20-21

+++

Everyone, has the responsibility to find the truth for themselves. What is stated below, must be researched and verified, so that every individual can then decide to accept, or discard it as myth. The only truth is God the Father, the Son our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Read the Bible, pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance and our Lord Jesus Christ will not abandon you, but will place the truth in your heart.

+++

We must not try to copy the world, but be different to it, as the example set by our Teacher, our Lord Jesus Christ. Being the same as the world, sharing its base values, being part of the fashion trends, is all part of Satan's system (Sex changes that are taking place ever more frequently and therefore not knowing anymore who is a man or a woman). The Pope of Rome is one of Satan's instruments (the Papists have immense power and wealth, our Lord Jesus Christ was humble and owned nothing). Talmudists/Zionists want to rebuild Solomon's Temple and proclaim their own false king of the world (there is only one King of the Jews and Orthodox Christians and that is our Lord Jesus Christ). Their power base is the U.S.A (Superpower of the world). They contol many governments, banks, newspapers, television stations (the media in general), etc. We must not forget the very elusive and cunning Masonic Lodges which form part of Satan's means to spread anti-Christian and heretic information. Television and video has been one of the most powerful tools of Satan, which has ruined the ethics which sustained our youth and the family unit. With pornography in all its forms, men have been misled and subsequently their women, a whole generation of our youth and their families have been devoured by Satan. We have forgotten about God, the Bible and prayer and have allowed ourselves to go down the road to hell and have fallen into Satan's trap (in other words we are slaves to flesh and our desires). Hedonism is the aim of humanity.

The group that is attempting to rule the world, consists of three member countries, U.S.A, Europe and Japan (3 presidents). Their central control, consists of 32 members (of the 29, 8 are Americans; 9 from Japan; 12 from the European Union (contolled from Belgium/Luxembourg). Head of the 3 member group is Rockefeller (his head quaters is in Rhodes, Greece; his specific influence is in the U.S.A and E.U). Whoever does not obey the orders of this group are murdered. Death is the penalty for disobedience. Another Satanic "club" is called, Bildeberg. They can destroy any government and put a new one together again. They can make a country vanish and create a new one too. 200 members, which include intelligence agencies (CIA; BIA; BND (Ger.); SIB (Ital.); SPELA (Fra.)). There are members who are involved with NATO and hold important positions in the US administration, etc. They hold an extremely harsh stance against the East, especially with Russia because of its Christian Orthodox heritage. They exterminate/demolish any opposition.

An enemy going back thousands of years is head quatered in China (the Himalayas/Tibet). The Seljuks come from that region, who are the ancestors of the Turks, who attacked and oppressed Christian Orthodoxy in Asia Minor and Greece. The Turks/Jews have tried many times to wipe out the Greeks and Christian Orthodoxy. They call the Greeks and Christian Orthodoxy, the people of the "Blue Trigramaton" (which is refering to the Holy Light that emenates from our Lord Jesus Christ's tomb). The roots of martial arts is that region spoken of above. Martial arts are Satanic and anti-Christian and yet has our youth spellbound under the innocent guise of sport/fitness. In the Himalayas there is a glass pyramid (Sambala), it has many entrances. This is where the White Brotherhood is based. It's aim is to destroy all the world's religions except its own. It has more power than the U.S.A. It has more resources at its disposal than all the governments in the world. It has infiltrated and controls many governments and religions (Roman Catholics, Protestants and Judaism). The First and Second World Wars were masterminded by them. They are going to start the Third World War too. The White Brotherhood works with the Bildeberg club and all the others. They are assisted by the Zionists. They created Hitler and introduced the Swastika (broken cross, that is what it means). Hirohito of Japan was responsible for a massive bloodbath, but he was not punished like the others, after the Second World War because he was a member of the world ruling 3 member group mentioned above. Grey Wolves (Turkish Muslims), are connected to the White Brotherhood. Only Grey Wolves members may rule Turkey. They must always mantain a harsh stance against Greece/Christian Orthodoxy (Turgut Ozal, was exterminated for his softer stance).

The White Brotherhood want to destroy the followers of Jesus Christ. They call His followers, bipods or two-legged ones. Their methods are many: thirst, hunger on a worldwide scale. All plants and forests must be destroyed. Wars, so as to ensure maximum slaughter. They refer to humanity as a chicken breeding farm. They destroy humanity with drugs; they have contaminated our drinking water (it has been doctored with medication); our food is also contaminated and our clothes too from the fancy washing powders that we use (that is why everyone is getting ill and they don't know why). Thirst on a worldwide scale, for eg.. Euphrates to be dried up because of Turkey, which will lead to a confrontation with Iran/Syria. Hunger, for eg., Russia was the world's wheat provider, even the U.S.A relied on her. The White Brotherhood ensured that Russia would starve. In Moscow young women give themselves for a plate of food. Homosexuality, the U.S.A being its banner. One can go on and on, but there will be no end then. It is devestating. But do not despair, if you are a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ because He has defeated Satan and the world.

(This is a summarized version and a translation of a tape recording in Greek, from a Greek Orthodox perspective ofcourse, given to me by a Monk at Calvary/Golgotha in Jerusalem, Christmas, 2001. I cannot divulge any names, nor my own because this is a very dangerous subject. You will have to verify the truthfullness of the matter yourself. Please excuse my errors of spelling or other. May God forgive me if I am wrong about any of this, but I do it with honest intentions. God bless you. From a humble follower of our Lord Jesus Christ.)

+++

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." JOHN 16:33

+++

"LORD JESUS CHRIST, HAVE MERCY ON ME."

SCIENTOLOGISTS TAKE-OVER "CULT AWARENESS NETWORK"

SAN FRANCISCO (CNN) -- At one time, the Cult Awareness Network took as many as 16,000 telephone calls a year in an effort to help anxious families worried about sons or daughters involved with unconventional religions.

But last month, after 20 years of operation, the Cult Awareness Network closed its doors, forced into bankruptcy after losing a costly lawsuit to the church of Scientology.

Now the phones are ringing again -- but this time there's a good chance they'll be answered by a Scientologist.

In a bizarre twist of fortune, the organization that was once the most vocal critic of Scientology is now owned by a member of the controversial church.

"I think this is going to be devastating," said Cynthia Kisser, former director of the Cult Awareness Network. "People are going to believe they're going to talk to an organization that's going to help and understand them in their time of crisis, and in fact, it could be a pipeline of information directly to the group they're most afraid of."

Since 1991, 50 lawsuits were filed against the Cult Awareness Network by people who were somehow connected with the Church of Scientology, said Kisser. Most were dismissed -- but one produced a judgment of nearly $2 million against the network.

The attorney who won the suit is a Scientologist who often represented the church. Another attorney, also a Scientologist, bought the name and telephone numbers of the Cult Awareness Network.

Watchdog or hate group?

Scientologist Bob Lippman, calling the old network a hate group, said the new Cult Awareness Network will stand for religious freedom.

"That's what the new CAN will stand for," Lippman said. "For promoting religious freedom, understanding, peace on Earth, good will towards men and women, I might add."

The Church of Scientology may get even more than just the name and phone numbers. Two hundred seventy boxes of confidential files on 1,200 groups tracked by the Cult Awareness Network may also be handed over.

The boxes contain information on groups like Hare Krishna, the Church of Universal and Triumphant and the Unification Church of Sun Hyung Moon, as well as Scientology and other religious organizations.

The bankruptcy may put all the files, which also include the names of people concerned about family members inside the groups, on the auction block, available for sale to the very groups the Cult Awareness Network once monitored.

Kisser called that prospect appalling.

"If the bankruptcy court lets those records be sold," she said, "they are basically taking people's worst fears, which they've confided in the Cult Awareness Network, and selling them to the very organization that created the trauma and that pain."
Scientology Exhibition on Psychiatry

I just wanted to share this -

about four months ago scientology had some kind of road-show in Copenhagen where I live on Psychiatry.

I went to see it, and I can assure you all that it was biased - basically it was an exhibition detailing the cruelties of Psychiatry from 17 century and to this day - and of course there are many true horror stories about how patients have been treated - BUT - the point of the exhibition was basically to convince people in need of psychiatric treatment and perhaps medication that psychiatrist were basically downright evil, and that the answer was not medication or known psychiatric methods... And I think you can all guess what the answer was.

I can only view this as a very cruel tactic to get in touch with people at their most vulnerable - perhaps psychiatric patients - and then offer them the classic cult cocktail of attention, companionship and brainwashing.

In my opinion this way of getting new members is a much more unethical than the normal schemes scientology employ...

Did you know that L. Ron Hubbard's flock of freaks sets up tables and offers "free" "personality tests" on market in S.F. Thats not even the bad part, they have kids that cant be a day over twelve at the oldest working that shit? Something seriously needs to be done. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be stopped. Also, we should start a new religion dedicated to worshiping xenu and build our church right next door to their church. That would piss them off.

Panorama investigate Scientology tomorrow on the BBC.

Just a heads-up.

Panorama (the BBC investigative show) will be airing a half hour report on BBC1 (UK only) tomorrow, 14th May, about Scientology. The Scientologist's have tried to stop the show being broadcast and they have gone as far as airing footage of the show interviewer losing his head! Read about it here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6650545.stm

I would expect someone to upload the show pretty quick to Google. The show airs at 8.30 PM so I would expect it to be up for download by ten at the latest. Some of you may want to download and then re-upload it with a different file name and keywords.

The show should also be available to watch on the BBC website although I think your IP address has to reside in the UK so many of you may not be able to view it: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/panorama/default.stm More reason to bomb Google with thousand of uploads. Might also help changing the length of the file by taking a few mins off, will make it more difficult for Google to spot it. Don't forget the different file name and keywords.

Keith Henson Back in Jail
http://www.10zenmonkeys.com/2007/05/09/keith-henson-back-in-jail-space-elevator-will-have-to-wait/

[ Here is the first part of the article check UIRL for full interview text ]

On April 26, 2001, Keith Henson was convicted of interfering with a religion — a misdemeanor under California law — for picketing outside Scientology’s heavily armed, razor wire-enforced base, outside Hemet California. He split for Canada, becoming the world’s first “Scientology fugitive,” and he’s back in the U.S. dealing with a variety of court cases related to Scientology.

Henson was just thrown back in jail. As best as I can make out from the limited information currently available, Henson and his lawyers were scheduled for a hearing at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, May 8th. They were apparently unaware that warrants had recently been signed by the Governors of California and Arizona, and after the hearing, Henson was handed over to the Yavapai County Sheriff Department for incarceration until a hearing on Wednesday May 9th at 9 a.m. (A note received this afternoon — May 9th — from Henson’s wife, Arel Lucas, says that he will remain in the lockup at least until Monday, May 13th.

wedding for scientology?

So the tomkat was married 4 days prior to the huge wedding event and the wedding was just an elaborate promotion for scientology, with one planted at each table to answer questions. Since they spent millions promoting their religion, does that mean they get to go clear faster? It seems to me, if you have the money you'll go places with this cult - it costs somewhere in the vecinity of $500,000 to go clear. Anyone know more details on the cost of scientology and what the money is used for?

TREVISANUT

That is my surname. It's an odd one and but for a small number of countries scattered around the world we are virtually non-existent. Punch in "trevisanut" on the web from almost anywhere and you'll easily come up with a Janna Trevisanut ~ a major player in the world of the celebrity Scientology center in Los Angeles, California. There is actually a surprisingly sizable clan of Trevisanut's in the Los Angeles area; I am from Canada however and I don't claim to know anything about their religious affiliations. Janna however has her own web site and she is a big promoter of the Scientology church. I corresponded with Janna by e-mail a number of years back when I was laid pretty low by a nasty drug addiction. To her credit she offered me some genuine support but her sell on the church was a real turn off. I wrote recently to thank her for that period she helped get me through (I've been clean and sober almost a year and through power of creativity and will). Janna wouldn't so much as dignify my heartfelt thanks with a responce, an acknowledgement of any kind. In the four years that I first read Dianetics and Scientology, corresponded with Janna Trevisanut and had a brief introduction to the church of Scientology in Victoria, B.C. I can say with steel conviction that there is nothing sincere and genuine about these twisted people. They are the paranoid and obsessive products of a paranoid and obsessive organization. I am no relation to this wingnut by blood, but when her name comes up and for the promotion and advancement of Scientology, I wan't my name to come up to. These people should be fought on every front that presents itself, no matter how seemingly trivial. SEND JANNA MY REGARDS TRIBE MEMBERS, AS MANY OF YOU AS THERE IS, AND LET HER KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE "FASTEST GROWING RELIGION IN THE WORLD!"

from http://www.xenu.net/news/

July 26 2006
The cult continues to Dead Agent me to my employer. They have now reached a new low by making actual accusations of illegal activities. Below are two quotes from an anonymous letter sent to the highest executives in the global company I work for (spelling errors as in original):

Quote 1:
Some of us believe that Andreas is giving out sensitive information about the company to a man who works for the competition. What I am about to tell would need to be treated carefully because if Andreas find this out he will do something crazy with us. Even if he wants to look like a nice man he is vendictive and some of us have families. Andreas has strange contacts in Norway.

Some months ago Andreas was seen speaking to a competitor for a long time. Andreas was acting strange and looking around to see if somebody was looking at him. Andreas was very nervus.

Andreas was speaking to the man and giving information and an envelope. Andreas was heard saying that [the current] management is worse than [the previous].

Letter goes on talking about our partners, competitors and customers. Including naming colleagues. It ends with:

Quote 2:
At the end of the conversation said that the person he reports to is incompetent and there is nothing to worry about and everything will be fine.

Letter is (of course) anonymous. Quotes posted here to document some of what is going on. And to let OSA know how "effective" they are.

As taken from: http://www.slate.com/id/2149178/?GT1=8592

"Media stud: Tom Cruise
Title/position: Movie star, producer, expert on the history of mental illness, Scientologist
Year fired: 2006
Ostensible reasons: Strange behavior alienated female fans; his movies cost too much
Real reason: Sweet deal Cruise negotiated called for him to get 30 percent of gross; he angered Mrs. Redstone; more money for TomKat and their daughter Suri means less money for Sumner and his daughter Shari
What he's doing now: Charming hedge funds into funding his projects"

Looking for Scientology Articles

I'm doing an issue of my zine, The Drink Tank, on the theme of Scientology. I have a transcription of Hubbard talking to Forry Ackermann about it from the 1950s and I'll be reprinting the original article which announced Scientology (and Dianetics) to the world.
I'm looking for personal stories and rants and rages against scientology, as well as photos and art that anyone might have.
If you're interested, drop a line to garcia@computerhistory.org
I've already had a couple of folks ask about anonymity and I'll observe all requests
Chris

International Xenu Day

I've been to a couple crazy events here in San Francisco, that happen around the world.
The first is Santa Con. Every winter thousands of people dress up like Santa, an Elf, a Sexy Santa, etc., go bar hopping, get drunk and surly, stop traffic, for an entire afternoon.
There is also International Paul Reubens Day, on his birthday. Same scenario, but everyone dresses up like PeeWee Herman.
I'd like to see how much interest there is in an International Xenu Day on March 13th(or the nearest weekend), LRons Birthday. Every year all 80000 scientologists across the world have a big event to celebrate L Ron. That would be a perfect time for a group of trouble makers to dress up like aliens and hang out in front of the Shriners Auditorium (where they have it in LA), or in front of your local Scientology building.
Same terms apply, get drunk, surly, cause trouble etc.
Is there enough interest to make it happen?

We have 10 months to spread the word.

First of all, you guys are all hillarious!
I got drawn into this tribe today for the first time and felt compelled to write about my brief experience with scientology.
In a young and desperate time in my life I took a counter job at a scientology office. They started me off having staring contests and reading aloud (even though I was only suppose to be a receptionist). To make a long story short...the woman who hired me knew my broke situation. I only got paid $18 and some change for two weeks of full time work. Man was I hungry...
So I made a shirt..."I've been screwed by Ron L. Hubbard" :)

After witnessing what happened when my mother tried to escape from a brief involvement with scientology I always thought it would be a great way to get revenge on someone by subscribing them to the local chapter.

A real message of truth from our Divine Creator..!

Message that is so true...
Always stick with what makes perfect sence and can be backed up with physical proof. Don't believe in anything, either know it or don't.
Beliefs are based on second hand information which forms speculation and is subject to change.
Knowledge is gained from first hand information through personal experience which is unquestioned and completly understood, undeniable proof of truth.
Don't play into any kind of religious idealistic brain washing manipulation.
Anything spiritually based that is gained second hand, is confusing and in some way or another makes a profit, isn't the truth and not the real deal.
The spirit of the soul is inlimited and free. Having a known connection with the powerful energy that created all that exists in our known physical rhelm, is personal to the individual and that connection has no boundries ,stipulations and is not set on any kind of conditional guidlines, nor are there rules and regulations that have to be followed inorder to know that powerful endless connection. The energy of the Divine is inside us all and exists in everything that exists.
Makes a lot more sence to me. My connction with God is known and unquestioned, it's a constant and infinite flow of energy completely unconditional and without fear. I trust in that which designed me for a specific purpose in this world. That guides my soul and knows the pure of my heart. For the Divine power of all knowing makes my heart beat and connects me to a beautiful view and understanding of myself.......
The love of life and power of us is knowing what is in the depths of our soul's purpose..
The trinity of true self....
love you all...Donna

Isaac Hayes disconnects from his job

By ERIN CARLSON, Associated Press

NEW YORK - Isaac Hayes has quit "South Park," where he voices Chef, saying he can no longer stomach its take on religion.

Hayes, who has played the ladies' man/school cook in the animated Comedy Central satire since 1997, said in a statement Monday that he feels a line has been crossed.

"There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins," the 63-year-old soul singer and outspoken Scientologist said.

"Religious beliefs are sacred to people, and at all times should be respected and honored," he continued. "As a civil rights activist of the past 40 years, I cannot support a show that disrespects those beliefs and practices."

"South Park" co-creator Matt Stone responded sharply in an interview with The Associated Press Monday, saying, "This is 100 percent having to do with his faith of Scientology... He has no problem — and he's cashed plenty of checks — with our show making fun of Christians."

Last November, "South Park" targeted the Church of Scientology and its celebrity followers, including actors Tom Cruise and John Travolta, in a top-rated episode called "Trapped in the Closet." In the episode, Stan, one of the show's four mischievous fourth graders, is hailed as a reluctant savior by Scientology leaders, while a cartoon Cruise locks himself in a closet and won't come out.

Stone told The AP he and co-creator Trey Parker "never heard a peep out of Isaac in any way until we did Scientology. He wants a different standard for religions other than his own, and to me, that is where intolerance and bigotry begin."

Go to the Scientology.org website and put virtually any character string in the search engine. First, try "Thetan." Note the results.

Second, type in something totally non-appropos, like "Anaconda," or "Shitake." Note the message that comes up.

Try random keys, such as "2389&**&^" . Note the message that comes up.

Then try "Xenu" or Zenu." Note the difference.

here is the statement given by south parks creators about the scientology episone being pulled from comedy central

"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!"

The duo signed the statement "Trey Parker and Matt Stone, servants of the dark lord Xenu."
I Love Blasphemy

I just wanted to stop by and say I love tribes that utterly discredit religions. I myself love religion, but religions need constant humbling so they don't try to run the world. I must say that right now I find Scientology actually more scary than Islam of Christian Fundamentalism because it seems that the mind control techniques are more perfected in Scientology. Plus Tom Cruise creeps me out. However, I must admit to liking Travolta.

But I also came by to pimp my blasphemous tribe too. It's called the Wordwide Church of Polytheism, where our very existence is an insult to the Monotheism that rules the world with an iron fish, but also to mock ourselves, and just for the heck of it, to see how many gods we can collect. One guy made a god out of a vacuum attachment. We are also currently checking out Fish Worship and Bacterial Gods.

Well I took the test and see what they would say. I made myself sound like the worst person on earth.I wanted to shock them and it worked, but as you say Scientology Sucks.

Isn't it sad that there are great people who fall for anything? These people are smart and well educated, well most of them, but they fall for these gimicky "religins"....I would much rather be a part of a religious system that worships an unseen God then one that worships, or rather doesn't talk about worshipping, aliens....don't get me wrong, I love aliens and I respect people who believe in them, but scientology is a joke religion....It's full of people who tell you how wonderful you are and then when the rest of the world says your nuts you get "decompressed"....Must be nice to be that decieved into thinking that your actions are okay...Oh, just rambling away....

Oh, hi all, I'm new.....

this was crazy, the whole administrative system in the office was based on Scientology concepts created by L. ROn Hubbard. Using dianetics therapy, and by clearing the reactive mind, we become "clear". And I was always wondering why the people had this brainwashed way about them.....

Sam Alito Heavily Invested in Slaughterhouses -

Sam Alito Heavily Invested in Slaughterhouses -
http://www.alitosamerica.org

Sam Alito on a regional bench twice broke his promise to recuse himself from
Vanguard lawsuits. Vanguard is perhaps of publicly investigated mutual funds the one most heavily invested in several kinds of slaughterhouse operations.

One way to find in what investments a corporation, mutual fund
etc. holds... go to http://finance.yahoo.com type in the symbol
for that entity, and then scroll down on left to 'major holders'.

MSN has such a service too with more listings.

Slaughterhouse, safari hunt and other money has in some cases gone underground with private equity funds. The British are less forthcoming
about stockholders than Americans.

http://www.senate.gov

God defeat this nomination.

VANGUARD: INVESTED IN ANIMAL SLAUGHTERHOUSES

Vanguard manages more than US $700 billion and has
more than 5000 institutional investors. It is invested
in many slaughterhouse and war operations.
1 It is the major investor in the world's most corrupt bank,
Citibank whose chairman helped jailed Bernie Ebbers buy Canada's
biggest cattle ranch with stolen MCI customer money.
2 It is a major investor in McDonald's (and since NPR has 200 million
in McDonald's stock,
... the 'public radio' network promoted Vanguard)
28,385,755 2.24 $883,932,410 31-Mar-05
3. It is a major investor in Yums, owner of the boycotted KFC
http://www.kfccruelty.com and of Taco Bell which finally settled with
unions.
4. It is a major investor in Lonestar Steak House which causes
cancer, heart disease, slaughterhouse agony, and deforestation.
(THE) 409,292 1.99 $11,832,631 31-Mar-05
5. It is a major investor in Triarc (Arby's beef)
6. Wendy's Vanguard is a major investor in the world's
3rd largest cowslaughter fast food chain
7. Vanguard is invested in SBC, a pricegouging conglomerate illegal
in Teddy Roosevelt's days
8. It is invested in Dominion, a gas company which has
been pricegouging the poor with doubling of charges.
9. It is a major investor in ConAgra.. 'butterball' turkeys
and other slaughterhouse items.
10. It is invested in Goldman Sachs, neocon warmonger.

John Bogle its CEO has been touted on NPR
because both are heavily invested in McDonald's. NPR was
allegedly left 200 million in McDonald's stock by Joan Kroc.
It is indeed humorous that Bogle would write a book on
business ethics.

------
Those who are not vegetarian or vegan might consider that
the incubation period of Mad Cow, Mad Deer, Mad Pig, Mad Chicken,
Mad Fish etc is 50 years according to Dr David Heymann of the CDC
speaking on the CBC... Heymann is one of the few truthtellers
at the pharmaceutically dominated CDC. Any investment in animal
flesh is unwise.

So my mom disconnected from me again.
She disconnected from me about 10 years ago, and that was fine.
I took the initiative to call her up, lie about being connected to supressive family members, and we were having conversatoins every so often. Then she decided that *I* was suppresive.
God help those people, they're so lost.
