hey, just joined this group from the ...intestines... of the beast, just south of clearwater (scientology city). my city has just started to be attacked by scientology, they bought a building downtown and are offering free 'stress tests' in front and selling dianetics books. going to start messing with them big time. if anyone lives in the area, they are on 1st ave N, between 3rd and 4th st N (south of williams park)

Anyway, I remember when they opened that "life improvement center." I was actually downtown with a couple of friends the night the center opened. Curiosity got the best of me & I ended up talking to one of the crazies. I was basically challenging him on things like medicine for mental illness, and I brought up the tom cruise/ matt lauer interview, which pissed him off. Just for the hell of it, we ended up watching one of their videos. Luckily, we left half way through it. I saw some crazy shit that night. I have no doubt that the whole "religion" is brain-washed based. I stumbled across this tribe, and when I saw 'St. Pete' I had to comment. You're right. Clearwater/ St. Pete = Scieno Central/ brainwashing hub of the universe. -

He might have forgot to tell the telephone company how it was to be listed, or someone at the phone company had a better idea. Whatever the cause, Scientology appeared in the classified telephone directory that year under "Zoos."
